Activities
The Senior Center provides access to weekly activities that include:
- Special trips
- Bingo
- Painting class
- Euchre
- Puzzles
- Pitch-ins
- Educational programs
- Informative programs
Lifestream Meal site
Lifestream Services Agency provides nutritious meals in a congregate setting Monday through Friday at Southview Courts. Reservations for meals are recommended by 11:30 am the day before you intend to eat. Meals are ordered 2 weeks out.
Lifestream Senior Games
Lifestream sponsors the Senior Games in June each year. Competition is designed for older adults and include some of the following events: putt- putt golf, walking, baseball toss, darts, shuffleboard, bowling, swimming, paper airplane toss, cornhole and more. T-shirts, lunch, and awards make this week a popular event. Union County Transit provides free transportation to this popular event.
Lifestream Fall Festival
Each September, older adults from Fayette, Franklin, Rush, Union and Wayne Counties meet at Dunlapsville for a day-long picnic. Boat rides and mini health fair are also included. Union County Transit provides free transportation to this event.
Senior Day at the Fair
In July the Union County meal site closes and everyone goes to the fair. A special lunch is provided by local vendors at the fair for everyone to enjoy. Bingo, cornhole, and other activities are offered. There is enough free time for everyone to explore the fair exhibits before the ending entertainment. Union County Transit provides free transportation to this event.
Activity Calendar
Activity calendar weekly flyers are distributed each month to residents. All activities are inclusive and everyone is welcome. Friends, family, including children are encouraged to participate. However there are a few occasions when limited space prohibits inviting everyone (i.e. residents Christmas party).
Euchre Playing
Every Monday night they play euchre in the multi-purpose room.
